Dracula, by BRAM STOKER(2000)
This week I read Dracula. I liked
this story because it was scary and I was excited. I wrote down three quotes
and will discuss them. The first one is: “And I stood there, and asked myself
why I could not see this man in the mirror” (p.7). I was very scared to read
this sentence. The second one is: “His face was very pale, but he held the piece
of wood over Lucy’s heart, and brought the hammer down hard” (p.29). I didn’t
want to read this sentence because this is scary scene. But I wanted to keep
reading to find out what happened. The third one is:” I ran to her and took her
in my arms” (p.40). I like this sentence because I feel happy to read this sentence.
Finally it was nice to make them happy.
I want to recommend this book. We
can be throbbing to read this. I give this book 8 stars out of 10.
