Lesson 15 (January 20th)

I learned “CALL” in today’s class following last week. I was able to understand that there were 8 conditions in principles of CALL and we could use Wiley Online Library. I would like to use this system if I have a chance to do it. Through this class, I learned a lot of important things and got motivation by listening to stories of various people. I would like to keep remembering and use things which I learned if I become an English teacher. Thank you for one year!!

Lesson 14(January 13th)

  I learned CALL in this class. CALL stands for Computer-Assisted Language Learning and it consists of Applied Linguistics and E-learning. Moreover, computer plays the role of tool, tutor and medium. I think that computer is very effective and important when we study. Blogs became very popular after the September 11th, 2001. I learned a lot of advantages of blogs through this class. I write one blog every week so I would like to continue doing it. Furthermore, one high school teacher gave us a lot of information. I was very inspired and my motivation has increased. We had a good time in this class. 

Japan

 I read “Japan” in this week. This book writes about a lot of things such as Japanese food, life, customs, traditions and Japanese history. I was very interested in this book and I was able to know a lot of new things.

Especially, I will write about Japanese food. I often hear Japanese food are loved by foreign people. Tempura, sushi, rice, miso soup and green tea is introduced in this book. I think these food have many charms so they are loved by a lot of people. 

Furthermore, Japanese people use chopsticks when they eat food. This point is different from foreign countries but I like this tradition which use chopsticks. So, I think we should keep this tradition from now on.
