The Ugly Duckling

The cute ducks were mean to their ugly brother. They pecked at him.　They pecked at him. They said, "You are ugly. Go away!" One day, the ugly duckling did go away. He swam and swam. After a while, he met some geese. But the geese were just as mean as the ducks. They pecked at him. They said, "You are ugly. Go away!"

The ugly duckling was always bullied. He was very sad. But one day he had grown into a beautiful swam. He was happy. I was happy too. It was good for him to spend happy life.

The sorry news

I was shocked to hear the news the fireworks stoped.This is because it rained very much. I was looking forward to seeing it. And I planed to go to zoo in the night. I was very shocked to hear this news. Instead of it, I will enjoy the summer vacation. And I will make many good memories! I'm looking forward to the summer vacation.

FROGGY GETS DRESSED

He flopped back inside-flop flop flop. Tugged off his mittens. Untied his scarf. Unsnapped his coat. Unsnapped his coat. Unbuttoned his shirt. Unzipped his pants. Pulled off his boots. Took off his socks and slipped his long johns on-with a zap! of elastic. Then he put on sock-zoop! Pulled on boot-zup! Tugged on one mitten-zum! Started to  tug on the other... and let it drop. And said, "I'm too tired." And went back to sleep.

Floggy couldn't wait to go play in the snow. So he put on his socks and hats. He pulled on his boots. He tied on his scarf. He tugged on his mittens. And flopped outside into the snow. But he forgot to put on his pants! He got home and put on his pants. and flopped back outside into the snow. But he forgot to put on his shirt! After all, he was too tired. So, he went back to sleep.
The end of this story was very interesting. Floggy was hasty person and I laughed at his failure. I think it was best for frog to sleep in winter.

The Spider and the Beehive

The spider was ready for the next treat. But when he tried to climb out of the hive, he was stuck. His belly had become too big! "Help! Get me out!" he cried. The boy said, "You have not been very nice to me. Goodbye, greedy spider!" Then off he went.

The spider ate many food and didn't share any. So, his belly had become too big! The boy said, "Goodbye" and left it. The spider yelled and yelled but nobody could hear his cries. And from that day on, the spider always shared his fruit with his friends.
I thought the spider learned from his mistake. It is very important thing. I should keep it in mind.

Open campus

I helped open campus of Prefectural University of Kumamoto on Sunday. I was taken a lot of questions. I tried it hard. I had a good experiences. I want many students to come here next year.

FROGGY EATS OUT

At the restaurant Froggy's eyes grew big and round. There were glowing candles, flowers in vaces, and tablecloths as white as snow. "This is a fancy restaurant," said Froggy. "Yes," said his mother. "So remember:Be neat, be quiet, and don't put your feet on the table."

 It's a special  occasion, so Froggy and his parents are going to eat dinner in a fancy restaurant. Froggy's mom has a few rules for him: "Be neat, be quiet, and don't put your feet on the table." But it's so hard for Froggy to sit still. He fidgets, he squirms, and he slurps his spaghetti. Then he spots Frogilima across the restaurant- now it's impossible for Froggy to follow the rules! After all, they eats out at a fast flies place.
I thought this story was interesting. Soon after Froggy promised the rules, he broke it. I laughed at Froggy's some pieces of mischief. It was difficult for him to promise it. And it was the best for them to eat at fast flies place!

Stone Soup

Once upon a time, there was a village. It was a nice place to live except for one thing. People did not like to share.

Prople in a village didn't share things. One day a visitor came to town. The visitor said " I will make stone soup for everyone." Then he took a stone and dropped it into a giant pot. Many people brought a cabbage,  carrots, corn and beans. And they put them in the pot. They were delicious! The soup made them so happy. From then on, the people shared.
I thought that stone soup was very good things. Thaks to it, the people shared things. I think it is important to share things!

I went to driving school

I went to my first driving school. I took some classes. And I did a trial driving. I didn't do it very well. I worry about I can't drive well. But I want to drive as soon as possible. So, I will practice very hard and many times. I hope that I can drive well. I will work hard with my friend. And I want to go many place with my friends. Of couse, by my driving.

STORIES OF HAUNTED HOUSE

He was in a group with Nat and Norm Nuckle. The bullies were always picking on him. As they waited to go in, the brothers marched up to Max. "You're not brave enough for this, Moon face," sneered Nat. "Why not?" asked Max. "Didn't you know, dimbo?" said Norm. "The castle is haunted by a terrifying ghost."

Max Moon was on a school field trip to Chillmore Castle. Everyone except Max was looking forward to the guided tour. He was in a group with Nat and Norm Nuckle who always bully Max. The twins dragged Max back to the castle and down the secret tunnel to the dungeon. "Let's see how brave you are now," sneered Norm. "OK." said Max. The bullies scared him more than a ghost. Then, he heared a clanking sound echoning behind him. He turned to see a ghostly, floating figure. However, Max and the ghost became good friends. And the next day, Nat and Norm was waiting for Max. They didn't believe Max's brave. Then, ghost appeared in there and made them promise that they will never bully again.
I thought this story was very good. Ghost was kind to Max. Nat and Norm promised with ghost so they must be keep their promise. I hope that they will be good friends.

The Fox and the Stork

Stork was very hungry. Fox poured soup into wide bowls. Poor Stork! She couldn't eat a thing. "Don't you like it?" said Fox. The next day, Stork asked Fox to dinner. Stork poured soup into tall jars. Poor Fox! He couldn't eat a thing.

Fox and Stork are friends, but Fox can't resist playing tricks. When he invites Stork to dinner, there's a sneaky surprise in store. So, Stork pays Fox back. Stork says"Always be kind to your friends, and they will be kind to you."
I thought this story was a good moral. If I do unpleasant things to my friends, they do them to me. On the other hand, if I do pleasant things to my friends, they do them to me. So, I should do pleasant things to my friends. And everyone will be happy.

Stories of Mermaids

"I think I have the solution," said the king and he lifted his trident. A magical cloud streamed around the pair. The next second, Coral was back in the sea. She had a tail instead of legs-and so did Dan! "Let's try underwater dancing," said Coral. And they swam off, hand -in-hand.

Coral love living under the sea. She races dolphins and sealions. But Coral has a secret wish. She wants to dance. Every evening, she watches the humans whirling and spinning at the dance hall.So, she says to king, "I'd like some legs please."At first, he looks doubtful, but she begs and begs. Then, he points his magical trident at her tail. She stands on the beach. She tries to run to the dance hall. She dances with young fisherman called Dan. They enjoy dancing. But she soon finds that life on land isn't as good as it looks. She tells him her amazing secret. She has to decide to have legs or tail. She misses her ocean home more than she enjoys dancing. But she had fallen in love with Dan. Then, king have the solution. They goes back in the sea with tail.
I like this story very much! It was wonderful that they worried each other. I thought they were a nice couple. And They must be continue forever!

Hansel & Gretel

As the pair neared the house, a delicious smell wafted past . "Freshly baked cakes!" cried Gretel. She ran closer... and gasped. The walls were made from chunks of cake and the roof was glistening chocolate. "It looks scrumptious," she said, hardly believing her eyes. "And tastes even better," mumbled Hansel, already munching on a windowsill. Even the windows smelled sweet. Gretel licked one. "It's sugar!"

Hansel, Gretel, their father and stepmother live together. But they have a little food. So stepmother wants to take Hansel and Gretel deep into the forest. They don't know what to do. Then, they find a little house. The house is made of cake, chocolate, sugar and so on. They smell sweet. They meet an old woman and go inside the house. They have many sweet things. But the old woman wants to eat Hansel. Gretel saves Hansel. Finally, they go home and live happily with their father.
I thought stepmother was cruel person. Hensel and Gretel was so poor. But they cooperate in any situation. I was impressed their bond. But I was surprised to know the old woman was frightening person. But it was good for them to escape the woman. I wish them a happy life.

Submarine Adventure

The submarine went deeper and deeper. "Glub! Glub! Glub!" it went. Everyone looked out of the window. " I can see the shark!" said Wilma. "It is getting dark," said the professer. The submarine went even deeper. Professor Tangle was excited. It began to get dark.

Wilf's birthday present is the beginning of an exciting undersea adventure. And he and his friends use magic key. They go to sea and ride a diving machine. There are professor in the diving machine. Their undersea adventure starts! In there, there are many many marine lives. The view is wonderful! They look out of the window and see a shark. I'm afraid to see shark. So, they must be afraid too. But the adventure seems to be fun. If I can experience the adventure, I want to do it!

Although Britain is quiet a small country, it offers a wide choice of food and drink. The types of food people eat have changed a lot over the years for several reasons. People have come to Britain from different parts of the world, bringing their favorite food with them and often opning restaurants.Britain people have travelled to other countries and brought new foods back home. And today big supermarket companies can buy food from all over the world and sell it while it is still good to eat.

This book explains food and drink in Britain. In this book, I was especially interestead in drinking. In Britain, people go to public houses and have a drink and food there. People meet friends, listen to music and play games like darts. Children can go in pub gardens with their parents but can often only go inside a pub, with an adult, if they are over fourteen. Pubs sell many different kinds of beer. People out with friends often order a round of drinks, so one person buys for then the next time someone else buys, and so on.  I want to go there. It must be very fun. While people drink, they enjoy listening to music, playing games, talking with friends. The place is nice! I was surprised to know children who are over fourteen can go there. I think drinking is fun. But I must be drink carefully. We should drink moderately.

I went to hikarinomori yumetown

I went to hikarinomori yumetown. It was refurbished. It rained heavily.There were many many people. And new shop was very nice. I bought some goods. I enjoyed shopping. I thought yumetown will be more popular place. I had pasta and omelet containing fried rice. They were very delicious. I had a nice day! I want to go again there and enjoy shopping .

Fancy NANCY The Show Must Go On

I am not assigned to Bree. I am assigned to Lionel. He is very shy. I hardly know him. Ms.Glass wants us to brainstorm with our partner. That means to talk over ideas. So I ask Lionel, "Do you like to sing?" He says no. He does not like to dance or tell jokes.

Nancy and her partner for the talent show are very different. They don't have any of the same talents. Then, Nancy goes to his house and there are a loys of toy lions. And she comes up with idea which they do a circus act. He is a lion. She is the lion tamer. They  practice many times. Their performance is very good!  I thought Nancy came up with good idea. It sounded nice! I wanted to see the show. It must be very fun. Nancy and Lionel are good friends!
