The Wind in the Willows

 I read “The Wind in the Willows” last week. A lot of animals appear in this story, for example, mole, water rat, toad and badger. This book is the story of these animal’s daily life. Toad was a dangerous driver and he caused a lot of accidents so his friends worried about it and they wanted Toad to stop driving. However, he didn’t listen to it and continued to drive dangerously. Then, police got very angry and Toad was put in prison. The span Toad should be in prison is twenty years!! Toad wanted to escape from prison and go home but it wasn’t easy. His difficult adventures started and he somehow tried to go home. Finally, he could go home and his friends were waiting for Toad. I thought his friends don’t like Toad but it was wrong. Their friendship was wonderful!! I think friendship is very important for both humans and animals. This story made me happy.
